Wellness Environments to set aside $1,500,000 to Study Critical Access Hospital Renovations and Replacements in 2011

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Nashville, TN, August 23, 2010 – In the pursuit of strengthening their use of Evidence-Based Design, Wellness Environments is embarking on a multidisciplinary study of hospital renovations and replacements. Wellness will partner with 7 to 10 hospitals that will each receive anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000 for the administration of these studies. The goal is to analyze future renovations and replacements of Critical Access Hospital Patient Rooms, Operating Rooms and Emergency Departments over the course of two to five years.

CONCORD, CA (November 11, 2009)— The Center for Health Design (CHD) , a nonprofit research, education and advocacy organization announces that Wellness Environments of Nashville, TN has joined the list of Advocate Firms for the Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) program as an Advocate Firm.
